Leverkusen, 3 February 2012 - Management and supervisory board of Biofrontera AG
have decided to increase the company's base capital from EUR 11,240,486.00 by up
to Euro 500,000.00 to up to EUR 11,740,486.00 through issuing 500,000 new
ordinary shares from authorized capital II. The purchase right of the
shareholders was excluded. According to today's tabulation, the private
placement of the shares was successfully completed and over-subscribed. The
registration of the shares will follow shortly. The proceeds of the capital
increase amount to about EUR 1.5 mln.
